内分泌治疗是激素受体阳性乳腺癌患者的基础治疗，可显著减少复发和病死率。然而，并非所有患者能从中获益，如何进一步提高内分泌治疗疗效具有重要临床意义。肿瘤相关成纤维细胞（CAF）是乳腺癌间质中的主要细胞成分，具有不同于正常成纤维细胞的促肿瘤特性。CAF 可改变肿瘤细胞的微环境，从而影响乳腺癌细胞生物学行为和内分泌治疗疗效。近年来，一些以CAF 为治疗靶点的研究逐渐开展，并证实可提高乳腺癌内分泌治疗疗效。笔者对CAF 在乳腺癌内分泌治疗中作用以及如何针对CAF 改善内分泌治疗疗效进行综述。
Research progress in the role of carcinoma-associated fibroblasts in endocrine therapy for breast cancer
Endocrine therapy is the basic treatment for patients with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer, which can significantly reduce the tumor recurrence and mortality. However, not all patients may benefit from endocrine therapy, so how to further improve the efficacy of endocrine therapy is of a great clinical significance. Carcinoma-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) are the major cellular component in the tumor stroma of breast cancer, possessing tumor-promoting characteristics distinct from those of normal fibroblasts. CAFs can change the microenvironment of the tumor cells and thereby, affect the efficacy of endocrine therapy. Recently, researches targeting CAFs have been gradually carried out, and also proved to be effective in improving the efficacy of endocrine therapy. The authors overview, in this article, the role of CAFs in endocrine therapy for breast cancer and how to improve the efficacy of endocrine therapy by targeting CAFs.
